Belton becomes seventh to intercept 50 passes

LAS VEGAS (May 27, 2017) – Tracy Belton has seen a thing or two in his AFL career. The Washington Valor mark his seventh stop in eight seasons. But no matter where he's playing, Belton is still picking off passes.

Belton's 3rd quarter pick of Randy Hippeard was his fourth of the season and his 50th in his career. Only a total of seven players have picked off 50 passes, and just two – Belton and Rayshaun Kizer are active. Belton has played in just 122 career games, meaning he's averaging an interception in slightly less than half of his games.

The eight-year vet has picked off at least three passes for all seven teams he has played for.

Ten of those interceptions have been returned for touchdowns, tied for the fourth most in AFL history.
