Gray Descends Upon 750 Career Receptions
(Seven Hundred) Fifty Shades of Gray – The Baltimore Brigade made some history in Week 14 by ending the 17-game winning streak of the Philadelphia Soul. This week, they've got a chance to celebrate a meaningful personal accomplishment. Reggie Gray has 744 career receptions through Week 14 of the 2017 season. With six more, he'll become the 19th man all-time to snare 750 passes. In the process, he could surpass both Gary Compton and Dominick Goodman on the all-time receptions list. With four trips to the end zone, Gray would catch Cory Fleming for the 12th most in AFL history.

T.T. Toliver Attempting to Run Down 16k – There are only two men in the history of major professional football in North America who have ever amassed 16,000 receiving yards in a career. Jerry Rice, largely accepted as the best receiver to ever play football, has a record that feels like it will never be run down with nearly 23,000 yards. But T.T. Toliver could end up second best to him by surpassing arguably the greatest CFL receiver ever, Geroy Simon, by the time this season is over with. Toliver has 15,989 yards in his storied career, easily the most in AFL history. With 11 yards, Toliver will become the third ever in the history of major professional football to log 16,000 yards.

Benson's the Boss – Mykel Benson is a virtual lock for first-team All-Arena at the fullback position this year. He's accounted for 284 total yards of offense this year and has found the end zone 18 times. Now, he's right on the cusp of moving past a legend on the all-time rushing list. With 32 yards in Week 15, Benson will surpass Bob McMillen and move into fourth place all-time on the league's rushing list.

Hippeard Set To Become 25th To Throw for 15k – Tampa Bay Storm quarterback Randy Hippeard is right at the top of the charts in all of the meaningful statistics for passers in the AFL. He could be on the verge of wrapping up an MVP campaign in the process. But before he gets there, Hippeard will have to reach the 15,000-yard mark for his career first. Hip enters Week 15 with 14,674 yards. He needs 323 to catch John Fitzgerald for 25th on the all-time passing yards list and another three yards beyond that to become the 25th man to throw for 15,000 yards in a career. Hippeard also needs just one more touchdown pass to catch the recently-retired Erik Meyer for 24th place on the all-time touchdowns list in AFL history.

Hills One Score From Touchdown Record – Make room, Damian Harrell. You've got company. Harrell held the record for the most consecutive games with a receiving touchdown by himself for nearly 4,000 days. But after 10 years of holding that record alone, Harrell now co-owns the record with Storm receiver Joe Hills. Hills has also scored a touchdown in 78 consecutive regular season games, and he'll have a shot to break that record in Week 15 against the Brigade. Hills will also likely move up a couple slots this week on the all-time receiving yards list.

Ringing the Bell – The Philadelphia Soul have themselves one of the best pass rushers in the AFL in Mack linebacker Beau Bell. Bell has 10 sacks on the season, making him the first man in the last two years to record double-digits in sacks in the AFL. Bell has 48 career sacks, two shy of moving into the top five on the all-time sack list. Up next? Bell will catch Tom Briggs if he picks up a sack in Week 15, while two sacks will get him to James Baron.
