CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Gladiators of the Arena Football League,
presented by Unique Home Solutions, were assigned WR Michael Preston,
the team announced Tuesday.
Preston, 27, enters his second season in the AFL and first with the
Gladiators after most recently spending time with the Miami Dolphins of
the National Football League in 2015.
The 6’5”, 213 lb. wide receiver spent three seasons with the Tennessee
Titans from 2011-2013 and made his NFL debut on December 15th, 2013
against the Arizona Cardinals where he caught three passes for 27 yards
and two touchdowns in his first career NFL game.
Preston spent his rookie AFL season with the Utah Blaze in 2011, where
he played in three games and collected 26 receptions for 319 yards and
five touchdowns before making his move to Tennessee and the NFL.
A Euclid, Ohio native, Preston played collegiately at Heidelberg
University where he appeared in 39 career games, posting 167 receptions
for 2,748 yards and 27 touchdowns.
